J.A.R fell in love with writing before she knew where it would take her. Her typical styles involve anything fictional with mysterious undertones and psychological twists. Her passion has grown throughout her dabbling in journalism, playwriting, and nonfiction. However, her interests remain heavily in poetry and novels. She graduated from St. John's University, receiving a B.A./M.A. in English and a minor in Psychology.

When it comes to themes, she is intrigued by a person’s identity and how they are affected by conflicts surrounding them. The mind is vast and she acknowledges that there are many ways people can interpret life as well as relations. That was the envision for The Writer’s Path. She recently self published two collections of her original poems, Chapter and Episode. She is currently working on her first novel, Project.Normane.

More from Her

My passion for writing started from a very young age. I remember my collection of books filled with stories and scribbles of my interpretation of characters. The moment I knew I wanted to pursue an actual career as a writer was when I was in middle school. From then on, I dabbled in styles such as poetry, playwriting, journalism, fiction, and nonfiction. These writing formats were crucial in recognizing what kind of writer I identified as. I was always fond of writing my stories (and I still am!) because I genuinely loved seeing my ideas come to life. Whether it was building off a single sentence or a theme that caught my attention, I wanted to view the outcome of it.

I am looking forward to growing my platform and sharing my creations with others like yourself reading this now 💫

Hi, Dreamer ~

The Writer’s Path, simply the path of a writer. While this page is about the author, J.A.R, the recognition does not stop at her work. It is the start for many writers embarking on their adventure and finding where their passion lies. Everyone can lift each other to create something meaningful for others to appreciate and see how they can relate. Every story is imperative to a writer; they are the ones who begin forming that path, but the reader’s admiration and interpretation allow them to accompany the journey.
